Dog Food Advisor

Thanks to Brian and the exceptionally talented team at Ameronix, we were able to create a complex multi-functional directory. The software was designed and built to allow users to locate pet food retailers in their area that sell specific brands reviewed on our busy website. The project included a user-friendly front end as well as a members-only back end with built-in subscription functionality. This permits our Basic level customers to upgrade to Premium membership without human assistance. Throughout the project, Brian was able to use his imagination to solve various functions and solve problems on the fly. Thanks to the ingenuity of the folks at Ameronix, this easy-to-use and practical system is now in continuous daily use by the public we serve. Best of all, Brian has worked tirelessly to help support and maintain our project whenever needed.

Under the hood...

Need to build a site from the ground up? Well, chances are if you have a website that is one of a kind, you’re going to need some custom code. Don’t worry, we've got you covered. Ameronix uses PHP and the Zend Framework. When we say that we program our websites from scratch, this is what we're talking about. The Zend Framework is a library made by the creators of PHP.

If you wanted to buy something online, imagine if the website wouldn’t let you pay for what you wanted with a credit card. You would be surprised wouldn’t you? Authorized.Net allows for your users to pay for things with a credit card. This is extremely important if you want your users not to buy from a different website.

Does your site have features that are more advanced? Does your site rely on other services like maps or stock feeds? Well, API integration is the key to incorporating features like these into your site. With API integration, your site can do more in less time. API stands for application programming interface. An API has functions and classes which allow your website to use features of other sites. This basically allows for a 3rd party to provide services to your website. Let's say you would like to give your consumer directions or maybe show them locations on a map.
